App Isnt Installed Error

I have been trying to run my app on my Nexus 4 for quite some time now. But everytime I try to launch it, it gives me an 'App isnt installed' error. The app is working fine on the

Solution 1:

After some research i have found that it is due to YActiivity.

when you have updated it to be YActiivity. This causes Android to think the app isn't installed, as it cannot find an XActiivity in your app marked as the MAIN Activity.

You can solve it by removing home screen icon and re establishing it back

If you did any change to launcher activity in mainfest then thisandroid:exported="true" could be the cause.
